Aggies Secure Commitment from No. 5-Ranked QB in 2025 Class, Husan Longstreet

Four-star quarterback prospect Husan Longstreet recently announced his commitment to Texas A&M during a ceremony streamed on the 247Sports YouTube channel. Longstreet chose the Aggies over finalists Auburn, Louisville, Ole Miss, and Oregon. Hailing from Centennial High School in Corona, California, he is ranked as the No. 28 player nationally and the No. 5 quarterback in the 2025 recruiting class. Longstreet visited Texas A&M during one of their junior day events in February, giving him exposure to first-year Aggies coach Mike Elko and his staff. He is the sixth prospect to join Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class and is considered a key addition to Elko’s recruiting efforts. Longstreet is the highest-rated quarterback commitment for the Aggies since 2022 when they signed current projected starter Conner Weigman.
