Former Defense Minister Marijo Banožić is making progress in his recovery, as he has been moved from the Intensive Care Unit to the Neurosurgery Clinic for further treatment. KBC Osijek confirmed this news, and HRT reports also indicate that Banožić’s condition is improving. Under Croatian law, Banožić has eight days to activate his parliamentary mandate following his dismissal. His lawyer submitted a request on his behalf to activate the mandate, as well as to put it on hold and utilize the so-called 6+6 privilege. This means that Banožić will receive full payment of his official salary for the next six months, followed by half payment for the next six months.
