Paul Frederic Anderson, a 44-year-old man, passed away peacefully at UPMC Altoona after a brief illness. He was surrounded by his family during his final moments.

Born in Mansfield, Ohio, Paul was the middle son of Terry and Marci Anderson. He had one older brother, David, and a younger brother, Michael. Paul grew up in Hollidaysburg and attended Hollidaysburg Area High School before enrolling at Duke University where he earned a degree in economics.

In addition to his time spent in Hollidaysburg, Paul also called Austin, Texas home for some time. He also lived in Pittsburgh and parts of Maryland before returning to Hollidaysburg.

Paul was an avid sports fan and loved to play basketball with his brothers growing up. He later starred on the Hollidaysburg high school team. His favorite teams were the Duke Blue Devils, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Penn State Nittany Lions.

Paul is survived by his parents and brothers along with their respective families. David Anderson is the father of Sydney (18) and Jack (14), while Michael Anderson is the father of Misha (14), Luke (13), and Maggie (10). All of them cherished their Uncle Paul deeply and looked forward to seeing him whenever they came to visit.
