The Hajduk players, led by their standout player Marko Livaj, have officially ended their season with the team “Fire” during the Euro qualifiers. They are now preparing for the continuation of the HNL with just four rounds left until the end of the calendar year.

The leading team of the championship will kick off against Istra 1961 in one of the upcoming matches on Sunday at 3 p.m. The match is expected to draw a large crowd and could potentially break Istria’s current record for attendance at a home match, which was set during a Cup semi-final against Rijeka with 7,500 spectators.

Istria has sold out all tickets for the southern stand, where visiting fans will be seated, as well as for the eastern stand, where fans with Hajduk’s insignia can enter. There are only a limited number of tickets remaining on sale for the northern tribune. With a capacity of around 8,900 seats and currently 1,246 tickets left on sale, it seems that Istria stadium’s attendance record could fall before the game even begins.

The first round of matches is an exciting opportunity for both teams to showcase their skills and compete for top honors in the championship. It will be an electrifying atmosphere at Aldo Drosina stadium as both teams give it their all to come out on top.
