Jackson’s inaugural Vendor Expo provides entrance to potential business prospects

The city of Jackson is offering a unique opportunity to vendors and those hoping to learn more about departments within the city. The city’s Purchasing Department will host the inaugural City of Jackson Vendor Expo at the Carl Perkins Civic Center. The event will take place on May 6, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

This free event provides an excellent platform for vendors to directly interact with representatives from various city departments. According to Zach Polk, Purchasing Director for Jackson, “Anybody and everybody is invited to this thing. It’s free. You can come in, talk, meet people, you may learn some new things about the city. But you have that good organic approach of face-to-face meeting with people that are doing business in the city. That’s one of the best ways to get new business into an area.”

Attendees will also be able to learn more about upcoming business opportunities and projects in the city. No sign-up is needed to attend. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to connect with city departments and learn more about business opportunities in Jackson.
