A 15-minute research study has been extended to you by Dr. Alexa Tullett’s social psychology laboratory at the University of Alabama. The focus of the study is on understanding how journalists evaluate and report on social science research, and your input is vital in developing best practices for communicating scientific information.

The compensation options available include either no compensation or a $20 gift card, which will be emailed to you within 3 weeks of participation. If you select the latter option, instructions on how to redeem the card will be included in the email.

The survey should only take about 15 minutes to complete, and your responses will remain confidential while your privacy will be respected. The results of the study will inform further research on best practices for communicating scientific information and will be published in scientific publications and presentations.
