The order is for a material handling solution that will be delivered to their El Paso electrorefinery in Texas, US. The value of the order exceeds €10 million and has been booked in the Minerals segment’s 4Q23 orders received.

The scope of delivery for Metso includes Outotec Anode Preparation and Cathode Stripping Machines, both designed for high safety and long-term reliability. These machines utilize modern robotic electrode handling to optimize layout and material handling efficiency in the existing refinery.
