Hans K. Reisch has been appointed as the new CEO of Spar AG with immediate effect. The supervisory board of Spar Austria made this decision after the previous CEO, Mag. Fritz Poppmeier became necessary. The proven management team will now lead the fortunes of Spar AG with four people: Hans K. Reisch, Mag. Marcus Wild, Mag. Markus Kaser and Mag. Paul Klotz. All three existing board members have also been appointed as part of the new leadership team. Dr. Gerhard Drexel, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, expressed his gratitude to Mr. Fritz Poppmeier for his decades of commitment and dedication to the company and wished him a speedy recovery from illness.
