The Commanders faced off against the Giants on Sunday and put up an impressive offensive effort, accumulating 403 yards. However, despite their strong play, they fell short of a win at home as the Giants sacked Tommy DeVito nine times. Unfortunately for the Commanders, their three interceptions and three fumbles proved to be the difference in a 31-19 victory for the Giants.

Head coach Ron Rivera expressed his disappointment at the missed opportunity for a win, acknowledging that there are things that need to be evaluated and changed as they head into Week 12. However, he recognized the limitations of making significant tweaks on a short week leading up to Thursday’s game in Dallas.

As the season progresses, bigger questions remain about the team’s potential changes in ownership and their path for future seasons. With seven losses in nine games so far this season, it is clear that something needs to change if the Commanders want to turn things around and make a push towards a winning record.
