CDW-G has recently appointed Michael Barlow to the role of advance technology account executive. Barlow, who has a wealth of experience in the tech industry, began his new position with the company this month. In his previous roles, he held various account executive and management positions with companies such as GE Capital IT Solutions, Marketware Technologies, NWN Corp., PTI Solutions, Technology Integration Group and Consolidated Communications.

Barlow holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from California State University, Sacramento, and is based in Fair Oaks. He is excited about his new role and sees it as an opportunity to have deeper conversations with stakeholders within state and local government. His goal is to understand their business challenges and align them with the right technology solutions.

On his LinkedIn profile, Barlow lists his areas of expertise, which include relationship building, account coordination, marketing strategy, analytical skills, sales enablement, business-to-business (B2B), infrastructure and network security. In addition to his professional work, Barlow has volunteered as a basketball coach for Holy Family Catholic Church in Citrus Heights and as a soccer coach with the American Youth Soccer Organization.
