Samsung, one of the world’s largest technology companies, is gearing up to release its new flagship smartphone series and has announced the promotion and release date of the phone. The Galaxy S24 series is set to be launched on January 17, 2024 in San Jose, California, USA, with customers being able to pre-order the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra models on January 18. The devices will be available for pre-order starting from January 26, with general availability for consumers beginning on January 30, 2024.
While the prices of the Galaxy S24 series have not been officially announced yet, it is expected that Samsung will follow a similar pricing policy to the Galaxy S23 series. The Galaxy S24 could start around $900, while the Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra will be priced at $1,000 and $1,200 respectively. Samsung aims to increase its earnings in the first quarter with the launch of the Galaxy S24 which will come equipped with One UI 6 based on Android 14 and will feature specially developed artificial intelligence features.
In addition to this announcement, it has also been revealed that Samsung is changing the location of its annual “Galaxy Unpacked” event where it showcases its new products. Instead of taking place in New York as usual, this year’s event will be held in San Jose, California, USA.
