Stephen Willis is a man of many talents, both on and off the rugby pitch. As a captain for the All Blacks, he has shown exceptional leadership and captaincy skills. He also has a love for flying and spends much of his time as a pilot.

When he’s not leading his team in rugby sevens matches, Willis can be found flying both 34 and 15-seater commercial aircraft, as well as smaller corporate jets. Despite the differences between flying and rugby, Willis sees similarities in the challenges he faces in both roles. He emphasizes the need to adapt to different challenges every day and give your best, regardless of the circumstances.

As a captain, Willis takes his responsibilities very seriously and strives to lead by example. However, he admits that sometimes his passion on the rugby pitch can get the better of him. Despite this, he remains committed to being a great leader both on and off the field.

Willis looks up to Richie McCaw as his main sporting inspiration. Not only do they share a passion for flying, but McCaw’s leadership skills have had an impact on Willis’ own approach to leadership. McCaw’s overall presence on and off the field has left an indelible mark on Willis, making him one of his biggest inspirations in sports
