Wisconsin hunters are excited for the upcoming deer hunting opener, but they know it’s going to be a bit challenging. The overlap with Minnesota’s rifle hunting season for deer means that there will be several hunting supplies stores giving helpful tips on how to make the most out of their hunting season.
Scott Miller from Northwest Outlet advises hunters to wear layers and have wool socks during their trip. “It’s a little harder to track deer while hunting without snow,” he said. “But hopefully everyone goes out and is successful and then safe.”
Pat Kukull, the co-owner of Superior Shooters Supply, also shared his advice for young hunters. “We had the big rush for Minnesota,” he said. “It’s not like years before because you can buy your license at home online. And that makes a big difference.”
Kukull emphasizes that customers should sight their gun in early to prepare for the hunt. For more information about registering online for Wisconsin’s Deer Hunting season, you can read more here. And if you’re looking for other Deer hunting stories, check out this article here.
