ASRC Federal, based in Reston, VA, has recently announced that it has been awarded two contracts from the Defense Health Agency (DHA). One contract, valued at $73 million, was awarded to ASRC Federal subsidiary Agile Decision Sciences to provide Health Readiness, Policy, and Oversight (HRP&O) services. The second contract, valued at $30 million, was awarded to ASRC Federal Cyber to provide DHA Enterprise Network Support Services (DENSS) for security and network support.
Jennifer Felix, the president and CEO of ASRC Federal, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to partner with the Defense Health Agency in their mission to provide healthcare services for servicemembers, veterans, and their families. The HRP&O contract will span five years and involve providing support for health readiness, policy, and oversight to key officials within the DHA and the Department of Defense.
The DENSS contract, also spanning five years, will focus on assessing and supporting the IT network needs that impact healthcare delivery. ASRC Federal will assist in designing and deploying IT platforms and infrastructure for DHA, ensuring that the network can evolve to meet changing mission requirements. The team will also consolidate service infrastructure support functions to create a secure and efficient network support system under the DHA.
