Jesse Love secures pole position in Texas Xfinity starting lineup

Rookie Jesse Love secured the pole position for Saturday afternoon’s race at Texas Motor Speedway with a speed of 185.612 mph. This marks Love’s third pole award of the season and his first since February when he won the pole at Atlanta.

Following Love on the starting grid is Cole Custer, the 2018 Texas winner, who qualified in second place with a lap of 185.471 mph. Taylor Gray, Chandler Smith, and Riley Herbst rounded out the top five in qualifying, showcasing strong performances ahead of the race.

Of the Dash 4 Cash drivers, Chandler Smith had the best qualifying result, securing the fourth position on the grid. Justin Allgaier, Sam Mayer, and Sheldon Creed also qualified for the race and will be competing for a $100,000 bonus in Saturday’s event.

The entry list for the race consisted of 38 drivers, all of whom were able to qualify for the race, ensuring a full field of competitors for the event. The race is set to begin at 1:32 p.m. ET, with FS1 providing coverage starting with pre-race NASCAR RaceDay at 12:30 p.m. ET on Saturday for fans to get ready for the action.
