Huawei has announced that their flagship smartphone series, Huawei P, will be renamed Huawei Pura and will soon release the Huawei Pura 70 series devices. The company introduced the latest P series smartphone, the Huawei P60 Pro, in May last year, known for its advanced photographic system featuring an XMAGE camera with a self-adjusting physical aperture. Now, Huawei aims to rebrand their P series as the Pura series, focusing on simplicity and purity in design.
Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei’s consumer division, announced the new Pura series on the company’s Weibo profile, emphasizing a design centered on technology, fashion, and art. The new Huawei Pura 70 smartphone is set to be the first device in the Pura series, succeeding the Huawei P60. The promotional video released by Huawei showcases the smartphone’s enhanced photographic capabilities and a camera module with a unique triangular design, combining classic elegance with modern technology.
Although Huawei has not specified a release date for the Huawei Pura 70 series, reports suggest that it will include multiple models such as the Pura 70, Pura 70 Pro, Pura 70 Pro+, and Pura 70 Ultra. Fans and enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting more details and features of these new smartphones from Huawei.
