Thirteen prospects have confirmed their attendance at the 2024 NFL Draft, which will take place on April 25. The event will be well represented by quarterbacks, with Caleb Williams from USC, Jayden Daniels from LSU, and Drake Maye from North Carolina all expected to be in attendance. Williams is considered a top prospect and is predicted to be the Chicago Bears’ No. 1 pick. This year’s draft will be held at Campus Martius Park and Hart Plaza in Detroit, making it the first time the NFL has hosted the event in Michigan. In the previous year, the draft took place at Kansas City’s National WWI Museum and Memorial and Union Station, which was the largest venue in the draft’s 88-year history.
The group of confirmed players comes after a long list of invitees was released in February. Among those attending are Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy, who surprisingly opted to stay home despite his rising draft stock. Missouri’s Darius Robinson, a first team All-SEC defensive lineman, will also be present. He was one of eight Missouri prospects to attend the NFL scouting combine this year, setting a record for the school. Robinson is among seven SEC players confirmed to attend the 2024 draft, the most of any conference this year.
The draft will kick off with the first round on Thursday, followed by rounds 2-7 on April 26-27.
