Springfest, the North Redondo Beach Business Association’s annual carnival fundraiser, is set to take place next weekend. The 41st annual event will run from Thursday to Sunday, April 25-28, at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center. Attendees of all ages can look forward to enjoying more than 20 rides, games, food, and more.
After being closed in 2019 due to the pandemic, the event made a comeback last year. This year’s event will feature a beer and wine garden, a community marketplace, and live music on Saturday and Sunday. Admission to the event is free, but all-you-can-ride wristbands are available for $40. The festivities will kick off with family night on Thursday, offering $2 rides.
Local performers including Jeremy Buck, Barley, Better Daze, Ethan Buckner, Joe’s Band, and Rampage will take the stage on Sunday. In addition, school bands, cheerleaders, and dance groups like Jazz It Up Studios, Bollypop, Dance Factory, and Ohana Dance will also be performing. Proceeds from ride tickets and other purchases at the event will support North Redondo businesses and fund community initiatives such as Dine Around Artesia and student scholarships.
For those looking for a VIP experience, tickets and tables are available for Saturday and Sunday. VIP tickets include seats near the stage, a drink ticket, a wristband, and snacks. Attendees can also participate in a raffle drawing for a chance to win three-day VIP passes to the Beachlife Festival.
Springfest will run from 5 to 10 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center located at 1935 Manhattan Beach Blvd. While admission to the event is free, wristbands for unlimited rides can be purchased for $40.
