New Temple location to open for family-owned Waco business later this month

Helados La Azteca, a family-owned business run by the Garcia family, is excited to announce the opening of a new location in Temple. The Garcias have been making Mexican-style popsicles, known as paletas, since the late 90s when Eduardo’s father first started the business at their original location off Franklin Avenue.

Every week, the Garcia family spends hours crafting hundreds of delicious popsicles, creating a tradition that has become a daily ritual for them. Initially focused on selling popsicles to stores in Dallas and bulk buyers, they eventually expanded to include soft serve ice cream and other treats at their Waco locations.

With the success of their existing locations, the Garcias have decided to venture into Temple, where they see a growing community and potential for their business. They are excited to share their Mexican tradition with more people across Central Texas.

In addition to their signature popsicles and fruit cups, Helados La Azteca in Temple will also offer a variety of candies and piñatas, broadening their product offerings. The new location is set to open on April 26th, and the Garcias are eager to bring their unique flavors and treats to the Temple community.
